Many have a hard time pronouncing it and others have no idea what it is, but a "sesqui-centennial" is just a fancy term for a recognition of one hundred fifty years... in this case the 150th birthday of Sheridan, Indiana. The sesquicentennial celebration will feature the uniqueness of Sheridan's present and past with 10 days of special events, activities, historical presentations and entertainment, starting on June 25th to be highlighted by the grand finale on July 4th.
